![]() JUDITH GOODIN Leavenworth, Kansas Sporting Group Judith Goodin grew up with dogs and horses, but her first show dogs, a St. Bernard and a Pointer, shaped her involvement in the sport of purebred dogs for the past 37 years.
Each of those dogs finished their conformation championships, the first of what would be her nearly 100 champions and many group, specialty and Best In Show winners. Her primary breeds were St. Bernards and Pointers, but she also finished Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Salukis, and an American Foxhound, Today, she has Pointers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and is licensed to judge the Working, Herding and Sporting Groups, and one Non-Sporting breed. Judith was a founding member and the current president of the Leavenworth Kennel Club, and has served as the show chair for 19 years. She is also the show chair for the Heart of America Kennel Club, a founding member and director of the Heart of America St. Bernard Club, and has served as secretary of the World Union of St. Bernard Clubs. She has also served a number of years on the board of the American Pointer Club, including three terms as president. Judith has a degree in Interior Design and operated her own design firm for 18 years. She currently serves as president of a mechanical contracting firm. Away from the dog world, her interests include art, antiques and music. |
