The Empire State Building, the world's most famous building, is playing host to the world's most famous dog show, featuring the Westminster Kennel Club in its lobby display windows from now until March 1.

Each day, some 15,000 New York City visitors will get to see the Westminster legacy in historical photos, memorabilia and video in the ESB main lobby. In addition to two large windows (each of them 8 feet wide) devoted to its famous All Breed Dog Show, Westminster's Angel On A Leash Therapy Dog program is featured in another window. The American Kennel Club also has a display in one window, a salute to the Labrador Retriever and a look at AKC registrations.

Since 2004, visitors to New York during Westminster and millions of viewers in a huge national television audience for the world's most famous dog show have been treated to a spectacular historic sight: the Empire State Building lit in the club colors of purple and gold as a salute to the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show's enduring place in the city's incredible history.

The Empire State Building is located at 5th Avenue at 34th Street, and is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year.
