WKC 2010 Original Artwork Featured In Seeing Eye Auction

Morristown, N.J. - Want to play with puppies and take a behind-the-scenes tour of The Seeing Eye's private breeding facility in Chester? Own the original oil painting for the 2010 Westminster Dog Show's commemorative poster? Or, spend a day shadowing a Seeing Eye instructor, complete with a private tour of the school plus a blindfold walk with a Seeing Eye® dog?

These are just a handful of the 100-plus items that will go to the "top dogs" who bid in the Seeing Eye's 2010 online auction fundraiser (www.biddingforgood.com/SeeingEye). The bidding opens on May 3 and continues through May 13. All of the funds raised through this event will allow the school to continue its mission of providing extraordinary dogs to people who are blind or visually impaired.

The Westminster Dog Show painting is one of the many highlights of the auction, which also offers opportunities for luxurious getaways, tickets to sporting events, and customized portraits of your favorite animal. The painting, by artist Trish Biddle, was presented to The Seeing Eye on the floor of Madison Square Garden on the first evening of the 2010 Westminster Dog Show.

Because this auction is online, people everywhere can register to participate, sign up for email alerts or just browse the available items by going to www.seeingeye.cmarket.com.
