Canine Masters
Nineteenth Century Dog Paintings
William Secord Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition and sale of nineteenth century dog paintings. Over twenty five nineteenth century paintings will be on view, chosen to represent the range and diversity of nineteenth century animal artists, but also to showcase the many breeds characteristic of England, America and Europe; whether it is the highly bred lap dogs of Paris or the sporting dogs of the Scottish Moors.
