The six recipients selected by the schools for 2010-2011 Westminster Kennel Foundation awards are:
  • Cornell University: Eva Oxford
  • Michigan State University: Heather Grodi
  • Tufts University: Sylvia Lesnikowski
  • Tuskegee University: Stephanie Cruz
  • University of California-Davis: Lisa Kentfield

The Westminster Kennel Foundation was established in 1971 as an independent, charitable organization dedicated to developing knowledge and understanding of the dog -- its history, its variety, its uses and contributions and its proper care. Funding for the Foundation comes from major annual grants from The Westminster Kennel Club, plus individual gifts from founding members and other individuals.

Foundation Trustees are George F. Clements, Jr. and Peter R. Van Brunt.
