Historic WKC Shows Available On DVDs

Limited edition videos of Westminster Kennel Club Dog Shows from as far back as 1932 are now available for purchase on the Westminster Web site.

Famous dogs in Westminster history such as Nancolleth Markable (Pointer, Best In Show, 1932), Ch. Flornell Spicey Piece of Halleston (Wire Fox Terrier, BIS 1934), My Own Brucie (Black Cocker, BIS 1940 & 1941), Rancho Dobe's Storm (Doberman Pinscher, BIS 1952 & 1953), and many more. Children's Handling Classes, Brace and Team competition, obedience and dog trick demonstrations, too.

These DVD presentations of the show through the years vary in length and quality but represent the video and audio records that are available from our archives.

In the early years, especially, these DVDs may be as short as three minutes. Given that, obviously, most of those before 1992 do not include all Groups as they are now presented on the USA Network telecasts. All of the DVDs from 1992-2011 include the entire Group and Best In Show competition.
