Famed Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan And Harlem Gospel Choir To Perform National Anthem at The Westminster Kennel Club's 137th Annual Dog Show
For the first time, National Anthem will air live during "America's Dog Show" broadcast
New York, NY - (February 7, 2013) - The Westminster Kennel Club is proud to announce this year's performers of the national anthem at its 137th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, to be held on February 11-12, 2013 in New York City. Taking the stage at Madison Square Garden, famed Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan will perform on Monday evening and the Harlem Gospel Choir will perform on Tuesday evening. The performances and subsequent competition will be televised live during the broadcast on CNBC (Monday) and USA Network (Tuesday) beginning at 8pm ET each evening.
A member of the world famous Irish Tenors, Ronan Tynan has become known for his tremendous voice and effortless appeal. He has launched a successful solo career and has received immense praise for his moving renditions of both the national anthem and "God Bless America" at sporting events across the country, including recent performances for the NFL's New England Patriots, Formula 1 Racing, NBA's Boston Celtics, the Paralympics and many more.
The Harlem Gospel Choir is the premier American Gospel Choir. Founded in 1986, it has traveled the world, sharing its joy and raising funds for various children's charities. The Choir has performed for Royalty, President Obama, Nelson Mandela, Elton John, two Popes and alongside superstars including Diana Ross, Bono, Sinead O'Connor, Josh Groban and more.

Two categories of tickets for the Show are still available for purchase. The Piers ticket is a full-day, general admission ticket priced at $25 that grants one day's entrance to both Piers 92 and 94, including all benching and judging held at the venues. Tickets to The Piers may also be purchased at the door on the days of the Show. Madison Square Garden tickets, priced at $50 per evening, include reserved seating for the evening and access to the benching areas where daily Best of Breed winners will greet their fans.
