Entries may begin to be submitted when the Invitees lists are posted on our website (www.westminsterkennelclub.org) or on the website of the superintendent at www.infodog.com, OR Nov. 16, whichever is earliest. This is for all entries. Entries sent prior to it date above will be returned. Beginning on Nov. 16, entries may be submitted at any time up to 3 p.m. ET on Friday, December 7, 2012. Please read the premium list, available on either website for the additional rules and requirements.

Westminster is happy to be offering the opportunity for exhibitors in the regular classes to obtain points toward conformation championship titles for their dogs for the first since 1991, the last year that regular classes were offered at the show. Also, for the first time ever, AKC Champions will have the opportunity to obtain Grand Champion (GCH) points at Westminster, which means that the eligible dogs that win Best of Breed (BOB), Best of Opposite Sex (BOS), Select Dog and Select Bitch could win points toward their Grand Championships.

We are excited to be offering regular classes and the opportunity for championship points, as well as for Grand Champion points. This has created a lot of positive energy among our exhibitors and we look forward to seeing the competition for these points at all levels.
