SEALYHAM TERRIER
The Sealyham Terrier was originally created in Wales in the mid-1800s for
typical terrier hunting activities, including the pesky badger. The breed
has evolved to primarily a family pet and a much admired competitor in the
show ring. Despite occasional resistance to formal training, Sealyhams can enjoy agility exercises with their owners and participate enthusiastically in earth dog activities. A Sealyham is a dog of great strength in physical attributes,
and in loyalty and love for its family. His rather independent attitude
about being told what to do is tempered by a cheerfulness that is hard to
resist.
