Mr. Age Gjetnes

Mr. Age Gjetnes became involved with the sport of dogs in 1978 when he got a Cocker Spaniel that he showed to his champion title.  For the last 30 years, he has been a successful breeder of Afghan Hounds, as well as owner and handler of top winning Greyhounds, Poodles and Brussel Griffons. Three of the most successful Greyhounds, became top dog all breeds, 2001, 2003 and 2013 in Norway. Afghans bred by Gjetnes have won top awards at all major shows in Scandinavia, as well as in several European countries and the United States. His international judging appointments have taken him to Australia, South-Africa, United States, Canada, and many European countries. This is his second Westminster assignment.
