MS. CHRISTINE BISHOP of Port Charlotte, FL is a retired Police Commander from Illinois where she served for 25 years. While in that position along with other assignments, she served as a K9 Handler, K9 Supervisor and also K9 Commander.
From police K9 training to agility training, in 2013 Ms. Bishop became an AKC Agility judge. She has judged at the AKC National Agility Championships in 2017, the Brittany National Specialty in 2017, the Havanese National Specialty in 2016 and is judging the Border Collie Society of America National Specialty in October 2018.
Ms. Bishop presently lives in Port Charlotte Florida with her husband where she is running her young Brittany in agility, a dog she has shown to her Grand Champion Bronze in Conformation. She owns two retired agility dogs, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a Weimaraner. When not trialing or judging, she is active in breed conformation and teaches CGC and agility. She is a productive member of three all-breed dog clubs in two states and is a member of the American Brittany Club. This is her first judging assignment at Westminster.
