MS. DIANE SCHULTZ of Ormond Beach, FL began training and showing German Shepherd Dogs in the late 1970’s, in obedience, tracking, and conformation. In 1991 she fell in love with a Belgian Tervuren puppy who literally changed her life. He took her on an owner-handled journey, beyond her wildest dreams, to a conformation championship with multiple group wins, an obedience trial championship with many High in Trial wins, and advanced titles in tracking and herding. Her passion for dogs, competition, and dog people became a fulltime hobby leading to additional breed and obedience championship titled Belgian Tervuren, and eventually into the world of judging. Mrs. Schultz began judging obedience in the early 1990’s, and then accepted a position with the American Kennel Club as a Field Representative in 2005. She continues to enjoy the sport of dogs from every side of the clipboard. This is her first judging assignment at Westminster.
