Uno Puts 'Bark' In Barclay Hotel

Uno, the 2008 Westminster Best In Show winner, was in New York for various festivities on Westminster weekend.

On Friday afternoon the world's second-most famous Beagle (behind his good friend, Snoopy) met with school children to celebrate the new Royal Pooch Package at the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel, as the classic, contemporary hotel announced the reversing of its no-pet policy of the last 70 years.

The children are volunteers with Children for Children, a non-profit that engages young people in volunteering and service. The children displayed their handcrafted dog kerchiefs with "adopt me" designs to be donated to ASPCA dogs and cats.

Uno visits health care facilities as a therapy dog with his friend, David Frei, co-host of the Westminster telecast on USA Network. Frei spoke to the children about the volunteer work of therapy dogs and their human partners.
