Mr. Jason Hoke
MR. JASON HOKE of Madison, Wisconsin, is a second-generation dog man whose family began in the sport of purebred dogs breeding German Shepherds. In the following years, he and his family became successful Great Dane breeders under the Jamara prefix. He continued his career by becoming a professional all-breed handler, garnering many top awards in his career. Following his career as a professional dog handler, Mr. Hoke began a culinary career. He was a chef at esteemed restaurants, such as the Inn at Little Washington in Virginia. Mr. Hoke has enjoyed a judging career with appointments throughout the United States and worldwide, judging in thirty different countries. Mr. Hoke is still active with Great Danes and served on the Board of Directors as well as being the past President and the judge’s education committee for the Great Dane Club of America, in addition to being on the board of the Pekingese Club of America and a member of the American Whippet Club. He is currently licensed to judge all Hound, Toy, and all but one Non-Sporting breed, as well as breeds in three other groups, Juniors Showmanship and Best in Show. This is his third Westminster assignment.
