Ms. Britt E. Jung
MS. BRITT E. JUNG of Houston, Texas, finished her first Vizsla in 1980 and bred her first litter in 1984 using the Brittania prefix. Breeding selectively, Ms. Jung has produced more than 50 titled dogs, including dogs with Master Hunter, MACH agility, and Grand Champion titles, as well as therapy dogs and search and rescue dogs. She worked for professional handlers throughout high school and has also owned Pointers.
Her professional life has been dedicated to K-12 education. Since 2001, she has worked at the US Department of Education and currently leads the federally funded programs designed to address the impact of COVID-19 in elementary and secondary schools. She shares her home in Houston, TX, with her husband and four Vizslas.
Ms. Jung began judging Vizslas in 2007 and will judge the Vizsla Club of America’s National Specialty Show in 2025. She is very supportive of events that promote the versatile hunting dog and recently finished her first Master Hunter title. She is currently approved to judge the Sporting Group and Junior Showmanship. This is her first judging assignment at Westminster.
