NORWICH TERRIER

Ancestors of today's Norwich Terrier were first developed in the late 1800's around the area of East Anglia, England. Bred for portability, a harsh weather-resistant coat, and a desire to dispatch small vermin or to bolt fox, this game little dog remains true to his original type, temperament and sporting nature. Loyal, affectionate and an ideal family dog, the Norwich is one of the smallest of the working terriers. But make no mistake, this is an energetic dog who demands a lot of exercise and no small amount of daily activity to remain fit and happy.
