Rottweiler

The Rottweiler is a medium large working breed with a strong willingness to please.  The breed’s versatility is demonstrated in numerous venues including herding, carting, search & rescue, therapy work, and more. The Rottweiler was originally designed to be an all-around farm dog for tasks requiring endurance, agility and strength.  The breed should denote a compact and muscular build, neither too slight nor too heavy in appearance.  Despite its strength, the Rottweiler, when placed in a proper home with early consistent training, makes a devoted companion.
