Would the show be canceled due to inclement weather? No, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will continue regardless of weather conditions.

What is the Shuttle bus schedule and where does it run? There is a Westminster shuttle bus service, with priority to exhibitors, running from the WKC Gold Star Hotels to Piers 92/94 on Sunday, Feb 11 through Tuesday, Feb 13. The full Shuttle bus schedule is coming soon. Gold Star Hotels include the  Hotel Pennsylvania, The Stewart (formerly The Affinia) and The Wyndham New Yorker.

What are the benching sizes? If you would like to see the benching sizes based on breed, please click HERE.

What are the benching hours for Dog Show Exhibitors? Benching information can be found HERE. At the Piers 11:30 am – 5 pm / Best of Breed winners at Madison Square Garden  5 pm – 9 pm. (Open to the public at 6 pm)

What is the access to Rings, 8, 9 and 10 during the live television broadcast? If you are exhibiting in Rings 8, 9 and 10 you will need your Aisle Wristband and a Nat Geo badge from the Show Superintendent to gain entry into the Ready Aisle (one per entered dog). Spectators are not allowed in the ready ring.

 How do exhibitors get extra tickets? Exhibitors get one ticket per entered dog only for the day they are judged. If you need extra tickets you must purchase them online at the Piers or at Madison Square Garden’s box office. Deadline for reserved seats thru WKC is December 20, 2017.

Do the guardians of Junior Showmanship entrants get a ticket? Yes, your entry packet includes a pass for the Junior and one additional ticket for a guardian on the day that they show.

Do I need a ticket for Unloading/Loading? Exhibitors do not need a ticket, however, they must place the hangtag received in their entry packet on their review mirror when unloading/loading on all days. Please include cell phone number on hangtag.

Can I bring my dog to Westminster events? No dogs are allowed at the show unless they are entered in the competition. (Service dog rules apply.)

How can I view past years of breed judging videos? Past breed judging videos are not available at this time.

What are the Animal Medical Center veterinary hours at the show, including stamping? On Saturday, February 10, 2018  veterinary hours and stamping will be from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m at Pier 94. Monday and Tuesday, February 12 and 13, 2018 will be from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Pier 94.

How do I watch the 2018 daytime judging? The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Breed judging, Junior Showmanship Preliminaries and Masters Obedience Championship will be Streaming LIVE on FOX Sports GO (FSGO) and Westminsterkennelclub.org from 8am- 4pm ET.

How do I watch the 2018 evening judging? From Madison Square Garden the 142nd Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Group Competitions will be broadcasted live on FS1 from 8pm-11pm ET.

2018 Judging Panel Mrs. Betty-Anne Stenmark of Woodside, California has been chosen to select the Best in Show winner at the 142nd Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, which will take place Feb. 12-13, 2018. Mrs. Stenmark is a breeder, owner, and long-time dog club officer. She will join the elite list of judges who have presided over best in show at Westminster, “America’s Dog Show.”

Mrs. Stenmark will be awarding the Best in Show ribbon to one of the seven group-winning dogs sent to her by a panel of esteemed group judges. The group judging held at Madison Square Garden the evening of Monday, Feb. 12th will be officiated by Mr. Jeffrey G. Pepper of Boynton Beach, Florida for the Hound group; Mr. David J. Kirkland of Sanford, North Carolina for the Toy group; Ms. Mary A. Miller of Lexington, Kentucky for the Non-Sporting group; and Mr. Robert L. Vandiver of Simpsonville, South Carolina, for the Herding group. On Tuesday, Feb. 13th the group judges will be Ms. Elizabeth Sweigart of Bowmansville, Pennsylvania for the Sporting group; Mr. Robert H. Slay of Cary, North Carolina for the Working group; and Mrs. Rosalind Kramer of Leesburg, Virginia for the Terrier group.
