Mrs. Linda Hurlebaus

MRS. LINDA HURLEBAUS of Palmetto, Georgia began showing dogs in 1973 with Old English Sheepdogs. She exhibited as an owner/breeder before becoming an all-breed professional handler for 25 years. She bred Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Golden Retrievers. She handled many top winning Golden Retrievers from influential kennels. She is a longstanding member and breed mentor of the Golden Retriever Club of America.

After retiring from handling, Mrs. Hurlebaus worked for the American Kennel Club in the Events Plans Department, and later as an Executive Field Representative in the Southeast United States, and the Judges Education Liaison. Returning to judging in 2015, she is approved to judge Best in Show, Junior Showmanship, Sporting, Hound, Toy, and Non-Sporting groups as well as several Herding and Working breeds. She has judged the American and Canadian Golden Retriever National Specialties as well as in Japan, Thailand, China, and Colombia. This is her first judging assignment at Westminster.
