Dr. Elliott L. More

DR. ELLIOT L. MORE of Deerfield, New Hampshire imported his first show dog, a Golden Retriever, from England in 1964. Shortly thereafter, he began apprenticing for many of the top professional handlers on the east coast, including Bob and Jane Forsyth, Bob and Sue Fisher, Ted Young Jr. and Bill Trainor. Dr. More received a Bachelor of Science from McGill University in 1975, majoring in Genetics. He showed dogs professionally for 15 years and in 1978, was the last handler to be granted an "all-breed" handlers license from the AKC. Dr. More attained his DVM degree in 1993 and has been in practice for the last 28 years. He has been judging for over 30 years and is approved for the Sporting and Working groups and Best in Show. This is his sixth judging assignment at Westminster.
