Mrs. Holloway of Newark, DE has been involved in dogs since the early 1960’s. She owned a grooming shop and boarding kennel in New Hampshire before beginning in the dog show world. When she joined the Merrimack Valley Kennel Club, she met several mentors in the sport including Ted Meisner, Bill Trainor, and George Alston. Mrs. Holloway owned, bred and exhibited numerous breeds throughout her career including Afghan hounds, Toy Poodles, Miniature Poodles, Maltese, Bouvier des Flandres, Kerry Blue Terriers and Standard Schnauzers. In partnership with her husband since 1978, she has handled dogs to top rankings, and numerous Best in Show wins. Her most cherished moment was in 1997 when the Standard Schnauzer she owned, Ch Parsifal Di Casa Netzer, won Best in Show at Westminster. Mrs. Holloway is approved to judge Toy and Non-Sporting groups and Best in Show. This will be her first judging assignment at Westminster.
