PAUL CAMPANELLA OF EAST HAMPTON, NEW YORK was introduced to the sport of dogs as a child, when he raised his first champion show dog, Starr a Bassett Hound, in 1980. Since then he has bred and shown numerous Chesapeake Bay Retrievers to their championships. Since then, Mr. Campanella has owned several top-winning Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers with his partner Robyn Haskin. Mr. Campanella is a member of the American Chesapeake Club and The Westchester Kennel Club. He began working with The Westminster Kennel Club in 2001 by assisting show operations. In 2013, Mr. Campanella worked with the club to develop the Master Agility Championship at Westminster, and now serves as the club’s Director of Companion Events. He became an AKC judge in 2006 with the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and is now approved to judge the Sporting group. This is his first judging assignment at Westminster.
