Mrs. Reyders of Newbury, NH continues the Norwich/Norfolk Terriers breeding line that her mother, Mrs. John Ewing, developed in 1949. She started showing her own Norwich in 1983. Mrs. Reynders has steered 34 Norwich Terriers to their Championship with twenty of them having finished their championship from the Bred-by-Exhibitor class. Additionally, dogs bred by her have won Best of Breed at The World Dog Show in Budapest, Amsterdam and Dortmund, Germany and Best of Breed and Best in Specialty Shows throughout the U.S.
Most notably she bred, GCH Highwood’s Whirling Dun who won Best of Breed at The World Dog Show in Budapest, at the Norwich Club of America’s National Specialty, and at the Montgomery County Kennel Club terrier show, defeating 109 Norwich terriers. He was ranked number one Norwich in 2014 and went on to win Best of Breed at Westminster in 2016.
Mrs. Reynders began judging Norwich and Norfolk terriers in the late 1990’s and is currently approved to judge the Terrier group, Miscellaneous breeds, Best in Show, Junior Showmanship and several Hound breeds. This will be her second assignment at Westminster.
