MR. ROBERT D. ENNIS of BLASDELL, NEW YORK grew up with a Cocker Spaniel and attended his first dog show in 1964. Mr. Ennis has owned, bred, and exhibited Cocker Spaniels throughout his years of involvement with dogs. After graduation from college in 1973, he began breeding and exhibiting dogs in earnest. He maintained a small hobby kennel and finished more than 40 champions. Mr. Ennis’ judging career began in 1993. Since that time, he has judged in nearly all U.S. states, as well as Australia, Canada, Europe, and New Zealand. Currently, he is approved to judge the Sporting, Toy, and Non-Sporting groups as well as some Working and Hound breeds, Best in Show and Junior Showmanship. This will be his fifth Westminster judging assignment.
