The Westminster Kennel Club is excited to announce that we are seeking applicants for the 2027 Breed Rescue Awards Program. Since 2018, The Westminster Kennel Club has annually awarded three $5,000 donations to randomly selected AKC-recognized National Breed Clubs in support of breed rescue. These awards help offset rescue-related expenses such as transportation, veterinary care, grooming boarding, feeding, training, and breed education.

If your club is in need of funding and would like to be included in the selection process for 2027 allocations, please complete our online application below. The application deadline for this cycle is September 30, 2026. This program is open to both new Parent Breed Club applicants and to those who have applied and won before 2021. We will accept applications from those who have won in the past, but not within the past 5 years.
